THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!! – MY EXPERIENCE AT DICKIE'S WAS BY FAR ONE OF THE ABSOLUT BEST THAT COULD BE IMAGINEDFROM THE SERVICE AT THE DOOR(W/O A RESERVATION)TO THE "TAG TEAM" OF WAITERS THAT SAW TO OUR EVERY CULINARY NEED ME & MY WIFE BOTH AGREE THAT THE STEAK'S AND THE SERVICE WAS THE BEST OF ALL OF OUR TRAVELS!!!!
oh please – Dickie Brennan's? Please. Comparatively speaking, I end up paying more for a lower quality of product. I was not impressed. Now, Port of Call? Fabulous. Star's? Terrific. I'm surprised these places didn't get on the list and Outback did.
the worst ever – we had reservations, waited 30 min our tabble still was not ready. we decided to sit at the bar a while to wait they told us it was not going to be ready for a while. we just decided to eat at the bar.
refreshing excellence – After three days of eating marginal food, we asked a shop owner where the locals went for great steak. He directed us to Dickie Brennenan's without hesitation, and without hesitation I recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a great meal and great service!
close but no Ruth's – Brennan's does a good job for the tourist trade, but after everything is said and done..."it's not a Ruth's Chris Steak." I have been from Natchez to New Orleans, Chicago to Seattle, Key West to Main and I have never had a steak as good as Ruth's.
Snazzy – Dinner at Dickie Brennans is a definate special occasion and lasting memory for all who experience it. From the extensive wine list to an array of meat sellection on top of great atmosphere and impecable service, I highly recommend this resraunt for anyone with good taste. For me my first visit there was a special night with a special person and we agreed we could not have chosen a better place to celebrate! have several since and plan on having more in the future.
Steaks to die for!! – Try the steaks Au Poivre, they are the tastiest steaks I have ever eaten. My wife even loves them and she is not really into steaks. Go, be pampered by the service, and give your taste buds a night they wont soon forget!!
Best Place In Town – The best place in New Orleans, This will be my second time visiting Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse.
Favorite meal in New Orleans, period. – My wife and I honeymooned in New Orleans for two weeks and went to many excellent and well known restaurants including Comanders Palace, Brennan's, and Mother's. Dickie Brennan's Stakehouse was easily our favorite. Although pricey, it was well worth it. The steak, creamed spinach, and even the bread melted in our mouths. In addition, the service and decor was great. As I said, It was my wife and my favorite meal in New Orleans and possibly of our lives.
