Worse ever – First, we asked for a specific waiter when we made reservatons and did not get him; second, everything went downhill from there. The food was either wrong, cold or cooked wrong. The drinks were as ordered except coffee. Our DD ordered coffee 3 times and each time were different and was not what he ordered. The sauce for the steak which was supposed to be a butter, garlic sauce was a thick brown sauce and it was the same for the escargot. OVERRATED – This restaurant serves good steak - nothing spectacular, especially for the pricetag. My experience with their service has been bad and worse.
Dickies' Superiority – Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse is hands down the best steakhouse in New Orleans and The region. Dickies has always provided me with amazing service from within its elegant atmosphere. With a host of refined chefs, and dapper captains, The DBS experience is one that all are sure to remember.
Don't Miss This One – Wonderful, well seasoned and cooked to order Ribeye and the service was excellent. If you are looking for service, atmosphere, and a perfect steak don't miss Dickie Brennan's on your next trip to New Orleans.
Bargain Basement – Steak was great, hatted the basement atmosphere. Sit on the street level.
WHERE'S THE BEEF ?!! – The setting and service was very nice however that is what you pay for,the food was moderately ok, I have actualy had a much better tasting steak at several other places around the city for half the price.In short I found Dickie Brennan's to be "OVER PRICED" and extremely "OVER RATED"
Wonderful – By far the best steak I have ever had in a restaurant ever. Expensive, but I expected that.
Another Also Ran – Still searching for the NOLA's best steakhouse...Dickie Brennans' isn't it. Side dishes are excellent; however, the steaks are good, not excellent...the search continues
In New Orleans you have entirely too many Overpriced and Overhyped restraunts and this is one of them. The bill is outrageous for the meal served.
