This was my wife and I 4th trip to Dickey's. This should indicate we have enjoyed the barbecue. But our last trip (7/27 3:00 pm) my wife's ribs were full of gristle and when she returned them the cashier said she had never heard of gristle and the young man behind the counter told my wife they all had gristle. She returned to table with the bad ribs. After I finish my meal the boy came to table with ribs to replace the bad ones. A little late for her to enjoy. We felt like it was bad service. .

Not only is the food delicious but the service is commendable as well. I am a first time mom and still am nervous about going anywhere by myself with my baby because I start my errands with my hands full. I wanted to eat lunch with my husband today and requested Dickey's. I immediately became nervous because there is no drive-thru for it to be an easy task for me. But I went anyways. I just returned from picking up a lb of brisket. Brisket is good but I won't be back until they figure out how speed up the order and pick up system. Went in and was in a line of about of about 15-placed the order and waited and waited-moving slowly-one person ringing orders with a helper-2 workers preparing-look behind me(I've moved a few places) and the line is now backed up almost to door. Twice now we have gone to the McGowan Park location and have left both times without eating. We were going to order barbecue stuffed potatoes and they were out each time. While there are other items on the menu, we wanted potatoes. Not certain we will be back.
This was the best place for BBQ hands down. They are friendly, clean, and well organized. Management welcomed me and my visit was awesome. I went to the new location on Airport Blvd. If you want the best BBQ in town I suggest this location all day every day.
I ordered ahead of time but they didn't start making it til my husband got the got there to pick it up (and no they weren't even busy)..so 20 minutes later he got our order brings it to my work, we sit down ready to eat and 90% of the entire order was wrong (wrong meat wrong sides) !! Not to mention the portion of meat was very small. Sad part is the food was pretty good but I will drive the extra few miles to get my moneys worth at Dreamland from now on.

Food was good prices where OK I just started doing this review thing its a big help for people in there future visits!!!
I love their food, and staff! Me and my husband have been several times by ourselves and with friends who dont like bbq. they loved the food, especially since the bbq is separate.
The food was so amazing and so many sides to choose from. Been a long time since I had bbq that good. And different choice sauces. And the portions were very good for the price. I had lunch and plenty to take home for a supper. I highly recommend. And FREE ICE CREAM CONE WITH YOUR MEAL. I could sing their praises forever.
