I recently helped my daughter buy her first used car. While at Dick Smith Ford, they were very nice. Once you drive off the lot, itâs a different story. After 3 months, 3 breakdowns and $1600 in repairs, itâs painfully obvious that the car was never checked out. Repeated phone calls for assistance were never returned. The third party warranty we were pressured to purchase was supposed to be bumper to bumper. Come to find out it covers everything that isnât bumper to bumper which is basically nothing.
