I have been seeing Dr. Counce for 10 years for my chronic migraines. She is willing to try new things & stays current on the latest migraine treatments. Her staff is also friendly & very efficient.
I have been seeing Dr. Counce for almost 10 years. I’m medically disabled because of all my neurological problems. She has helped control my severe, chronic daily migraines to the point that I rarely feel them. She also treats a multitude of other issues that I have. I’m a complicated patient because I’ve been dealing with cancer for 5 years and the treatments have caused more neurologic problems. Dr. Counce handles it all! She has such a wide range of knowledge; I couldn’t get by without her!
Dr. Counce is the absolute best!! She is sterling in administering an uncomfortable treatment that alleviates pain. Her bedside manner is caring and expedient. I always look forward to my visits with her! And! Your wait time is minimal!!
Dr. Counce has been the only Neurologist that has ever been able to have any impact on my migraine headaches. She and her staff truly sit down and listen to you. I have been suffering chronic daily severe migraines for 30+ years and have been under the care of all the specialists, experts, deans, and gurus of migraine, and Dr. Counce has them all beat in my opinion. The 30% reduction is more than a week of headaches to me, and it's increasing. That is a new life to me. Thanks to Dr. Counce.
Absolutely the unfriendliest receptionist in the state of Alabama. Also, if you make an appointment and you don't specify that you want to see Dr. Counce, then you only speak with the Nurse Practionar. The CRNP wasn't even knowledgeable of what the concern was and only wanted to add more medicine. Will not return.

Dr. Counce and her staff have always been helpful and really care about helping with any problems. I am a nurse and I refer all my family and friends to her!
Expect to wait for hours. My appointment for a test was at 3 and it's 5 now and supposedly there was not going to be a wait at all since the test was at scheduled times. Absolutely horrible manners on the office staff, they don't care how long you wait or the fact you had to miss work for the appointment.
Doctor, Nurses ??, and Staff get a 5 out of 5. Helpful, Caring, Professional, and Informative are just a few of their outstanding qualities. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for help.
