Dr. Counce was kind, thorough, thoughtful, and helpful. She spoke with clarity and honesty regarding the daily headaches my husband has endured for a year. We knew migraines didn’t begin at age 66. We are hopeful her protocol for him will succeed!
Dr. Counce has treated my migraines for years and now treats my children. She follows parenting plans exactly and maintaines a professional relationship with all parties involved. Dr Counce has treated my migraines for 20+ years. She has always listened to my struggles with migraines and has been proactive in prescribing new treatments and medications. I recommend her to anyone struggling with headaches.
Great bed-side manner, caring, compassionate, very good at listening to my concerns and answering all my questions. Very detail-oriented during entire visit, great physical examination. She took her time to go over everything (symptoms, concerns, medical history, medication, etc) I wish more doctors were this way. She’s definitely a keeper! I totally recommend her and her practice to anyone! Excellent office staff, very polite, beautiful clean medical office.
Excellent care from both her and her staff! I was referred to her from my primary MD after having some new symptoms and unsure if they were related to my migraines or not. Her and her staff were compassionate, through, and efficient! I’ve had a neurologist completely dismiss my symptoms for migraines (Which I have had my entire life) in the past so this visit was refreshing!!

After a epilepsy diagnosis, Dr. Counce told my husband and I we would likely not get pregnant, and if we did I would not carry to term. As a woman, to hear that from a doctor is heartbreaking. It was completely false, and I have been reassured by multiple doctors since that we would have no problems. She is WONDERFUL!!! Dr. Counce was referred to me by a Mayo trained MD after multiple trips to Mayo and many unsuccessful consults & treatments by local neurologists. She is AMAZING!! Brilliant, compassionate, empathetic, stays current with new procedures/treatments, integrates the whole body, -included specific vitamins with tradional medications and medical procedures) always seeking a better plan.She has dramatically improved my quality of life! She truly LISTENS and cares! Great staff!
Dr. Counce has been my doctor for 10 plus years. In fact, I credit her with being able to walk today. I have a strange muscle condition and it was her patience that led to an accurate diagnosis and treatment. She is very professional, listens closely to her patients, and treats the whole person. She is incredibly thorough. Her office is well run and the staff is very competent.
