I would NEVER recommend Dr. Counce’s office because you always have to wait over an hour to even see her ,PA! The worst part is her receptionist!!! Never smiles, and always on the defense!!!! Very Rude!!!! She needs to be fired!!!!! I will NEVER go back there!!!!Cindy Scott
Dr. Counce has been treating me for almost three years for my chronic pain; mostly as result of Fibromyalgia and gluten sensitivity. However, in recent months I developed insomnia from restless legs and peripheral neuropathy. She ordered a full spectrum of tests that revealed other concerns including an underlying vitamin dosage that were incorrect for my needs. The front desk is rude and incompetent. They only take checks and cash … forget about asking them to send something to your email. They may help my wife, but I would find another doctor with a better and more helpful staff. I rate the staff -10 and Dr. Counce -10 for allowing the front desk for being so unprofessional and amateurish. I can say enough how bad the front desk is…FIRE HER!!! There is no compassion in this place.
Front desk was absolutely rude and unprofessional. When we waited over an hour after appointment time, finally asked how long the wait may be, and could not get an answer. We waited over an hour to even be brought back to a room. We were there for 3 1/2 hours, less than 5 minutes with nurse, about 10 with NP, probably 20 with the doctor, 10 at labs. Checkout was just as bad with the same front desk person being just as rude. Patients don’t deserve this!
Front desk receptionist Kristy was rude, unprofessional, cruel and lacked any sort of compassion. When my elderly wheelchair bound client had an accident on himself she told me they “could smell it through the glass” and she wasn’t sure Dr. Counce could see him. After a 1 hour wait time. He was humiliated and I was devastated to watch him embarrassed and hurting. I just can’t get over the overall lack of compassion shown by Kristy . Dr. Counce once in the room performed her treatment and was kind.
Terrible
I’ve seen Dr. Counce one time and ever since— nurse practitioners. I loved Dr. Counce when I had her but I ran into problems after that initial visit. She had run several tests via blood work and that somehow got messed up and I was charged over $2,000. Extremely disappointing first impression. Receptionist was rude and misinformed about insurance. Very long wait in waiting room. Another very long wait in examining room. When Counce finally swept in, she talked about money (was not aware that patient's insurance covered the visit - patient had called insurance and confirmed coverage). Showed no concern about talking to the patient about the issues that had brought them in - a referral from another doctor. AWFUL doesn’t describe it. If I could give 0 stars I would. Cancelled Rx without notification when the medication is necessary to stop seizures. The list goes on and on about what she didn’t do to help me. Unprofessional and didn’t do her job or what was best for the patient. Run away. In fact, her medical license should be pulled to be quite frank.
