The one single star is for the Brussels Sprouts. Even the bread was inedible. Literally. Hard as a rock. Steak was brought to the table well done, even though I ordered medium. I ate it because we had already waited 45 minutes and I had to get back to work.
We really liked the new location and decor! Much different than Mr. B's. We started with the Almond Toasted Brie, possibly the best we've ever had. We chose the sea scallops and the filet and shared them. The scallops were tasty, but smaller than expected, as the menu specifies "Jumbo". The filet also tasted very good but came cooked more well done than the medium she ordered. The waitress and mgr were very accommodating and apologetic. They offered to cook another, but we were good. We did accept the carrot cake they offere... read more
Big disappointment. This was a restaurant I would have given 5/5 stars to up against any restaurant from a big city. If you have a formula that is working, why would you change it so much? Now the atmosphere is cold and uncomfortable and the staff was inattentive and rude. The food left much to be desired. We used to drive over an hour from Detroit to come to the old Diamonds, now we would not drive 10 minutes.
Terrific, wife loved the salad and Mac and cheese was great.
Fantastic brunch! We tried the shrimp omelette and the mushroom omelette and both were amazing. Each was topped with a sauce that was delish! The service was spot on and the bloody Mary's and near bottomless mimosas are not to be missed. Only less than perfect note was the music. Please play something other than Hits of the 70s.
After a 3 1/2 hr. wait and $76.00 no food. Even after asking how much longer no one followed up. Never did get food, finally left. On our way out the door got an attitude from whom I assumed was the manager. I would not recommend.
Grand Opening Weekend was a BUST, not a hit! I gave 4 stars ONLY because I know how good their food is....BUT, they really deserved only 1 star for being very ill-equipped at handling their grand opening weekend (and Valentine's weekend at that!) in the new location. Everything was late, from sitting down at our table to getting drinks, order taken and even getting food. Let's put it this way...reservation was 6pm and by 7:50pm, we still did not eat! And so we left. The only good thing was our waitress, who was very professi... read more
What? After seeing promotions for the new location, we're terribly disappointed, especially after having dined here numerous times. Walked in at 3:30 pm on Sunday. Was greeted nicely by the hostess who had five other employees standing there. She asked how many people and I said two. Without skipping a beat, she said they're not taking any walk-ins because they're training and offered sitting at the bar where they have a full menu. The restaurant was busy, but there were also empty tables!! We turned around and left.
Second day of opening their doors and what a nice place as well as employees were very nice and helpful. Food was great! Will bring friends next time.
