Poor service but management tried to reconcile so we will be back
Went there for brunch today for food and drinks was all amazing. Also had to grab a piece of Carrot cake for the road!
We drove here from Jackson and we had a great experience. Service was on point and timely, food was wonderful and hot. Realize that a new restaurant goes thru growing pains (which is normal) I feel that this is a wonderful company and you all should support the their efforts to bring the Howell community something that a lot of communities would love to have. Diamonds you rock. Ignore the haters because they have something to say bad where ever they dine. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing you guys.
When we called for reservations we were told we'd be put on the 1 1/2 hour wait list. When we arrived we were told it'd be another 30 min. We went to the bar and ordered drinks and before drinks were served we were seated. Unfortunately, the table was in the back corner behind the wine cooler underneath a very loud speaker blaring music. Even the server noted how loud it was, but did nothing about it. Beautiful atmosphere, courteous and tentative staff and managers, amazing foood, wine was wonderful, and I loved the wine wall! Can't wait for another visit!
Had dinner last night and it's was so delicious 😋 I had the seafood pasta with XXXXXX garlic, my husband had the beeftips as usual and was also fantastic! Can't wait to come for brunch.....
Our first visit to the new location was a bit disappointing. We had to ask for our soup at least 4 times before it arrived at our table. My favorite Brussels sprouts were not what I remembered. They were not served in the skillet, but instead in a dish half the size. They weren't cooked like they used to be either. We received a burger that was not the one we ordered, which was very small for the price and weren't offered ketchup and mustard. I had to ask for a steak knife for my filet. Three nights after opening, I believe we were told. We sat there for 20 minutes before being given warm water or asked if we wanted other drinks. When we did get them, beer and wine were warm. Beer was replaced. Not much better. We had to ask for bread before it was brought. Two hours to get our food, even though we made an early reservation. Steak was not usual quality. We waited a week to let the new digs (& large crowds) settle in. I heard they had a few growing pains the first 2 days, but we sure did not see it. This was a great experience start to finish. Lori & I enjoyed a drink at the larger bar with neighbors we ran into, took in the new ambiance and had a wonderful meal with excellent, attentive service. If you had sour grapes over a visit when they first opened, you may give them the benefit of the doubt... This was a very good experience at Diamonds in Howell.
