Dr. Torphy is absolutely the most amazing and kind doctor someone suffering with migraines could have. He listens so well and goes above and beyond what anyone has ever done for me. I have been an in-patient three times over the last two years. I saw Dr. Torphy earlier this week for another round of Botox. He also gave me a steroid shot and assured me he would do his best to get me 'ready' for our family vacation. The words thank you just don't do what I feel justice.
Diamond has been the only place that has helped my son with his headaches!
My dad suffered from cluster headaches for a year and was treated at the diamond headache clinic by Dr. Urban. I am now a patient of Dr. Urban's for cluster headaches and he has been a god sent for both of us! He is very thorough, makes sure I understand my treatment, and really cares about me as a person. Most importantly, he has greatly improved my quality of life!
Dr Torphy is amazing. He really takes his time, listens to you without interruption and doesnt just throw protocols at you. He got right to the issues of my problem. He brkoke my 4 month long migraine. I still have many migraines....but i saw hope where there was none. Thia program is not just about the medication. It is all encompassing. I highly reccommend my doctor and Dr Alex as well
The Diamond Headache Clinic was a horrible and traumatic experience. Dr Freitag forced drugs on me that I said I was intolerant to. When I spoke up for myself, he drugged me into submission. I was discharged because I wasn't a 'good' patient and didn't want to get better aka I had side effects from the drug and it was my fault. Dr Freitag is a disgrace of a doctor. I wouldn't wish any of the trauma I'm still dealing with on anyone. Do not go here. There are other options.
I have always had a very good experience. They are always very nice.
