OVERPRICED!!! Wow. OVERPriced. Tried to sell me a 1.5C round, vvs1, F, diamond for a cool 20k. If you buy a diamond here, don't look anywhere else (or on the web) cuz you'll be kicking yourself forever. A diamond IS forever and so are your payments.
Kim Made Our Day Today It's our anniversary today, I bought my husband a Baume & Mercier watch, BTW, it's good Swiss brand having almost 180 years watch making history. It's not like the other reviewer said below that it's unheard of... remember, just because YOU didn't hear of, doesn't mean it's not worth the money; so do your research before you make such funny judgment. :-) Anyway, my husband opened the watch clap but found out it's too small for him. I bought the watch from out of town, so you know I cannot get immediate... read more
Poor Quality I bought an engagement ring and wedding bands at Diamond Cellar about 5 years ago, at the time I thought my Diamond Cellar experience was good. Since then my wife has taken her rings in every 6 months to be cleaned, and 6 times they have told her something was wrong with the bands (usually lose stones) and charge us to fix them. My wife takes her rings off before bed, and works in sales so needless to say she is not hard on her rings at all. The last time she took the rings in the salesman questions whether we a... read more
I wouldn't give them the time of day! I went to The Diamond Cellar because I was told they have some of the finest watches and jewelry in the area. What I found was OVERPRICED merchandise from A-Z, and a snooty staff that must all be descendants of royalty. I stood at the counter for almost twenty minutes. There were two people upstairs in the watch area. One was in the corner going through paperwork, and the other was making phone calls, one after another. All while I, the only customer in the room, was patiently waiting fo... read more
Mrs Lexus Oh my word. To go into a store and be treated so badly just because you might not look like you have the money to spend is so very insulting. Two different sales people gave me not just the cold treatment but one was rude to the point of getting me out of the store. They might have been surprised if they watched me go to the parking lot and drive away in the brand new Lexis I paid cash for. Yes, I could drop tens of thousands in the store but will shop happily elsewhere.
So Helpful! Going to the Diamond Cellar to shop for an engagement ring was a great experience. The salesperson was extremely helpful and explained the 4 C's of a diamond so that I, as a normal person without much knowledge, could understand. She also allowed me to look into a microscope to see the differences in the diamonds and explained the differences in pricing, completely supporting the customer's right to pay as little or as much as they wish. Their selection was great and service was even better. It's easy to get exac... read more
What a first class store I just purchased a wonderfully classy and very special ring for my fiance. Not only was the consultant helpful and knowledgeable, but she recommended the less expensive ring. I am also puchasing a Tag Watch where she recommneded the less expensive watch because it looks better on my wrist. Anyone who only cares about price and doesnt want to deal with good quality people should go to the other stores. I will never go anywhere else but the Diamond Cellar!
The ONLY place to buy a diamond I had an opposite experience from the other review...my husband bought my engagement ring here, and we bought his wedding ring here. I worked with Debbie Broyles and had an awesome experience. We could not have been treated nicer, and the prices were WAY better for the quality compared to any other local jewler...and we shopped around. I can't say enough good things about them!
I can't believe what I'm reading!! I honestly can't believe these reviews that I am reading. My husband purchased my engagement ring from the Diamond Cellar and couldn't have had a better experience. He went through their whole sales process, then told the salesperson that he wanted to shop around a little bit before buying. She gave him her card and said that she looked forward to hearing what he found out. Not only did he find other stores more expensive, but their salespeople weren't nearly as knowledgeable as the woman h... read more
