We thought this would be a great place to buy a diamond ring because they seemed nice and had been around so long. We have had nothing but trouble with our engagement ring. The diamond fell out twice, their service was slow. Then a few months later we heard from one of our friends that they didn't like DeVries either. I would not shop here!
Ally V. Me and my boyfriend were shopping all around for a diamond engagement ring. We thought we could trust Devries, but learned otherwise. We thought we were getting a great deal here until we had our ring appraised by an independent appraiser. We found that the diamond didn??t actually grade to the quality that we were told by DeVries. Didn't get my ring in time for our wedding. Went to this store as I heard good things. But my experience was not good. They took forever to get the ring I ordered in, and it was not ready for our wedding. Was very disappointed. I would not recommend this place.
I would find a different jeweler for service work. – I shopped here recently as I thought I heard they were good people. They were very friendly but I was not impressed with my ring. My recently purchased engagement ring was getting repaired and it turned out all fuzzy around where they fixed it. When I brought it to their attention, they tried to help me, but it still looked bad. I think they mean well, but my ring has never looked the same again. Jewlery Store This is a family owned jewelry store that has been in business since 1901. They specialize in diamonds and engagement rings, they have on-site jewlery repair. They do appraisials there also. They also purchase estate and used jewelry. They also offer custom designed jewelry, and they have unique jewelry and gifts. Highly recommended.
Great personal hometown service This jewelry store has been in busines for years!!! They have fixed many pieces of jewelry for my, and all have been afordable and very well done!! I have also purchased from the store, and have been very satisfied. It is practically the only place that my parents shop for jewelry. They have very high quality pieces, and the prices reflect that, so some prices are a bit high, but they correspond with the quality of merchendise.
Excellent ring repair job...... Wifes diamond ring broke during Christmas vacation, but we found the stone. So, when we got back to GR we looked for a place we could trust to put it back together. Rude employees and Overpriced! I went here with my mom to look at engagement/wedding rings. They basically ignored me most of the time and spoke to my mom. She was there for advice, not to take over! Anywasys, I told them our budget and what I wanted, and they continued to show me rings that were nothing like what I wanted.
