Rude employees and Overpriced! I went here with my mom to look at engagement/wedding rings. They basically ignored me most of the time and spoke to my mom. She was there for advice, not to take over! Anywasys, I told them our budget and what I wanted, and they continued to show me rings that were nothing like what I wanted. They said I could have it custom made but then never told me what that would cost or what I should do if I chose to do that. The rings they showed me were very small and over our budget. Didn't get my ring in time for our wedding. Went to this store as I heard good things. But my experience was not good. They took forever to get the ring I ordered in, and it was not ready for our wedding. Was very disappointed. I would not recommend this place.

Excellent ring repair job...... Wifes diamond ring broke during Christmas vacation, but we found the stone. So, when we got back to GR we looked for a place we could trust to put it back together. Great personal hometown service This jewelry store has been in busines for years!!! They have fixed many pieces of jewelry for my, and all have been afordable and very well done!! I have also purchased from the store, and have been very satisfied. It is practically the only place that my parents shop for jewelry. They have very high quality pieces, and the prices reflect that, so some prices are a bit high, but they correspond with the quality of merchendise.

They do appraisials there also. They also purchase estate and used jewelry. They also offer custom designed jewelry, and they have unique jewelry and gifts. Highly recommended.

I went to DeVries on advice from a jewelry department employee of Meijer to see if they could shorten my Mom's wristwatch band. Mom is 93 and has very small wrists. I was expecting to pay 5 or 7 dollars. The store was busy because it was the eve of Christmas Eve. It took a while to get one of the busy workers to wait on me - about 40 seconds.
