The happiest happy hour in the city! My friends and I always go here after work to enjoy a few martinis and some appetizers. The drinks are the best, not watered-down like other places. One drink and I am stress free and totally relaxed. And the best part is, drinks and appetizers are half off during happy hour (4-7pm Monday-Thursday). The wait staff is good too, a bunch of fun, friendly people who ensure that the drinks keep flowing and that you have a good time.
My girlfriend and I had a business meeting downtown and we were very early, so, we decided to stop by Detroit Seafood Market because I had heard great things about this place. I ordered the Perch Napoleon which was served over whipped mash potatoes, it was the best food that I have eaten in years, I loved it! This place definitely lived up to it's great reputation: great food, great atmosphere, great drinks, and great location.
Understaffed. Food is consistently of good quality and reasonably priced. Ambience is excellent.
Attended a Birthday dinner for my sister and I was very disappointed. Our server actually drop our entrées on the floor as he was about to serve us, my mother received raw chicken and to make matter worst the manager on duty was very uncaring.
Disappointed in the food this evening. They were out of many dishes and the dishes that were available were lukewarm and tasteless.
The sole was breaded and burnt. Could not even eat the breading. The potato's were very dry, and the bread before dinner was even burnt!
I had purchased a groupon, for I think it was 62$,. It was described to be worth 119$, give or take a dollar or to, we were handed a menu this 5 entrees on it to pick from, not one entrée was worth more that 20$, an appetizer, 3 to choose from, under 9$, and 2 desserts, 6$ each, so basically we bought a groupon for the same price a normal dinner would have been, on top of that the blackened fish, had no flavor, how does that even happen, stay away from this place
Wow, I really didn't think the service could be a slow as everyone was saying. IT WAS !!!! We did get seated right away but then it took 15 minutes just to get water !! The hostess came by twice & said she was sending someone right over, but it took awhile !! Waitress came for drink orders & I said we were ready to order & she tried to have me wait, but I was pretty set to order !! My salmon which was supposed to be in a heirloom tomato basil sauce was DRY !!! Vegetables were just laying in oil. The BEST part was the warm br... read more
