I recommend Tradewinds Condo. Excellent location right across the street from Pompano Joes Restaurant and miramar beach. Super clean and spacious. Loved the fact that the kitchen was fully equipped. I had gone to another airbnb by another company and the kitchen was not fully equipped. Although before our stay there was a glitch with the electronic contract, I contacted them and Sandi help me and got it all straighten right away. Horrible customer service. Stayed at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. They couldn’t give us a code for the pool they told us was a minute walk away. Claimed they didn’t even know it had a keypad to get in. We ended up asking some guests staying next door to us for the code and then gave it to the CSR. We also wanted to rent another golf cart because we had more than 4 people staying with us. “NO MA’AM” Sandestin restricts their golf carts even though they offer rentals through their Hospitality app that we had to download. “... read more
We booked a beach front vacation rental with Destin Getaway thru Vrbo. Got a confirmation for our booking. 2 days later they canceled our booking with no reason. Called them, they said they had a “computer glitch”, the price was actually 3times more. Nothing they could do about it. Either gave me 15%off which was still more than almost 1k more or gave me other condo which was 2 block away from the beach front. It was actually against the Vrbo booking law. It was horrible. Purchased a vacation rental with Destin Getaways for for Sterling Shores Condominiums for June 12-15 2020 and paid in full over a month ago. We just tried cancelling because of work requirements and Desting Getaways is flat refusing to refund our payments, even though we paid for the cancellation insurance. This company is an unprofessional greedy company and will never receive any business from us again. The property is Sterling Shores Condos and is managed by Destin Getaways.
