Poor customer service, bad experience – Stay away from Desoto Eye Care, especially Dr Schaeffer. The wait is long, the waiting room is very crowded, and the customer service is poor. I accompanied my father on his visits when he had his eye surgery. Schaeffer always had an arrogant attitude. When my father would explain his eye problems, Schaeffer would act as if he didn't believe him. Post surgery, my father complained that something was still in his eye. Too much headache to describe. Faliure to communicate, didn't order things when they said that they order them, overcharged and wasn't going to tell me until I saw the EOB from my insurance saying that they covered certain things. Told me I had a credit b/c of the overcharge and to talk to the office manager, who was either out sick or not there. The only plus is the doctor and nurses were nice. Its been 3 weeks, still have not got my money.
