I wish I had seen the reviews before we went into this place. RUDE RUDE RUDE! They have no clue what that are doing. The 3 blondes at the desk are just nasty. Julie is just a ***** well I think you can figure that one out. No organization at all. The doctor walks around with his shoes off. Who in the world walk around in a doctor office with no shoes off? I mean come on. The wait time is just ridiculous over 1 and halfs hours. I've never seen anything like it.

No organization! Showed up for a SCHEDULED appointment and was told Dr. Schaffer isn't scheduled for morning appointments. After pulling up the schedule, sure enough I had an appointment. So she said she would call him to be sure. Few minutes later, she told me he WAS coming in after all. After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked a different tech. She told me that she was the one that talked to him and he was NOT coming. They realized they originally told me that he was coming. But, they were hoping to still do at least a vision ... read more

The absolute worst Doctor visit ever. I waited at the desk three minutes while five women sitting at the desk finished their conversation. Then because I didnt have my insurance card..I would have to reschedule an appointment two weeks from the date, until one girl stepped in and said no one is here..we have time to just call Eyemed..Considering they would be getting paid almost $500 from my insurance company...The older lady is the most rudest...She was soo upset that someone helped me....I almost felt like she was trying t... read more

Worest place ever! They were acting like we owe them or something, and want us GONE. It's been a month, they still havn't called us! (They got money from the insurance company the day we ordered contacts). I'm so MAD at them, I hope they will go out of business. NEVER going back to there.

Great Office! – We are always treated with courtesy and professionalism. Ms. Mary is our DeSoto Eye Care Angel! :) The receptionists are always kind and cheerful.

Terrible facility – Don’t use Desoto Eye care on Southaven, MS. This vision center is more like a chit chat at a local book store. The office is neither organized nor even on the same page of what one hand doing. Seems overly compartmentalized to the point of inefficiency. I have been with this group for a few years and my recent visit is my last after the debacles they have caused at each visit and post visit. Southaven's Worst Vision Center – My first visit I walked in not knowing where to go or what to do. I wasnt greeted or even looked at until I had stood there for at least two minutes. They told me 'sign in and go to the waiting room." Being a new patient I didnt know where that was so I had to look around for it since its not up front and no one bothered to tell me.
