We recently tried to book a stay at the Desoto Bed and Breakfast on Tybee Island through Hotels.com. For some unknown reason when we arrived the B&B was not even open! The person at the desk was not in the least concerned that there had been a mixup and offered NO help or even empathy for the mix up. She stuck us in one of their oldest outside rooms that was clean but the toilet barely worked and the air freshner was so strong that we could not sleep...obviously it was covering up something in the room. DeSoto bed and breakfast. Love love love Debrah What an amazing host. We will be back, because of her amazing hospitality. Her breakfast and knowledge of Tybee are amazing. DeSoto vacation properties are blessed to have her.
The experience was very nice. we had a party of six and it was more than enough room in the Georgianna Inn. Very clean and luxurious with a nice backyard view of the beach. We highly recommend it. — with Torri Hightower.

OMG I love this place. The staff, Carol, at check in was so welcoming and helpful. The view from my ocean front room is amazing. Away from the center of town it's quiet & peaceful. Everything about my room is clean & in good working order. I saw a lot of negative reviews so I only booked 1 night here this weekend. Next stay in Tybee the Desoto is my go to hotel!
Very nice. The hotel is older so its not perfect. But that just adds to the appeal since much of tybee island is older. Our room was very clean and the staff were amazing! I really can't say enough about the staff.
Great views, awesome beach access, and very pleasant staff from the folks behind the desk to the folks who pass you by in the parking lot emptying the trash but still take a second to say hello. Wouldn't stay anywhere else when on Tybee or in Savannah.
bed was terrible, AC didn't work well. the "ocean view" room was more of a parking lot view... pool was tiny. would not stay there again.
