I arrived for Mohs surgery after a skin cancer diagnosis and was numbed with several painful injections to my nose, which made me cry. He toggles back and forth between behaving like a petulant child and an arrogant, egotistical narcissist. He continuously talked over me, didn’t allow me to express questions and concerns. He spoke to me through the nurse, “tell her that…”. “Explain to her that…” etc. while the three of us were in the room. I wasn’t worthy of being spoken to directly. My father is 95 years old and has been seeing Dr. Strasswimmer for ongoing treatments, including surgical procedures, for basal and squamous cell carcinomas. At each appointment Dr. Strasswimmer and his staff have been thorough and kind. They have earned our family's trust and sincere gratitude.

My husband had Moh’s surgery here - after several similar surgeries in our home state. He will never go back to this arrogant, uncommunicative, impatient man. His office staff was unhelpful at best, giving conflicting information at each follow-up visit. (4 post-op visits in the past 8 days, and we were never given specific written post-op directions initially. ) The office is much too small to accommodate the all the patients scheduled, and the wait time was over an hour at each visit. No one in this office listens!

Weird. Gratuitously rude, oddly defensive and somewhere between offensive and incompetent. They do not have a table and while they could make the narrow adjustable chair flat my husband could not lie face down on it. One solution Dr. S said was that my husband could go to the hospital, go under general anesthetic so he could be turned in any position like a "slab of meat." Although I immediately said no to that, he repeated it three more times. The other solution was an injection to treat the cancer chemically. Why would he ... read more

Dr. Strasswimmer is the best Dermotologist I have ever been to. He spends real time discussing the procedure he is going to do, explaining what he has done, and confirming his diagnosis with other experts. I recommend him without reservation!

Yael L an hour ago Dr Strasswimmer has been my husband’s Mohs dermatologist for 16 years. His credentials are superior, his experience in the best medical centers in the country. Most important, he has been totally dedicated to the welfare of my husband. He takes his time, is always very thorough, is kind and friendly.
