For many years I had nodes on both sides of my thyroid that were tested each year for growth and for cancer. Dr. Pendarvis continued the testing for cancer once I moved to Gainesville. There was no cancer, but the nodes continued to grow. Once my endocrinologist and I decided it was time to remove my thyroid I choose Dr. Pendarvis for the surgery. He did a wonderful job. Hate the thought of having surgery, but would definitely choose Dr. Pendaris again. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt at ease and trusted him for my procedure.

Dr.Jacobson delivered my daughter in 2001 (New Orleans). I was 20 at the time. This man made me feel so uncomfortable and he only did one ultrasound in the very beginning of my pregnancy. I had preeclampsia really bad and had my daughter really early. This man busted my water bag with his hands(so much pain) then decided 40 minutes later I needed a c-section to prevent me from having seizures and my daughter heart rate was dropping tremendously and my bp was extremely high! Dr Pendarvis did an awesome job finding and taking out an almond size parathyroid tumor. Great bedside manner and took the time to explain everything. If you need surgery on your thyroid he is your guy!!
