I had thyroidectomy surgery by Dr, Pendarvis. He was amazing. I had heard accounts of people with difficulty swallowing and a harsh voice for a time after a thyroidectomy. To my delight and amazement, I did not have any of this. My incision site is almost undetectable. In fact, I had virtually no pain after surgery. Dr. Pendarvis was recommended to me for his expertise in thyroid surgery and he certainly proved that to me. He also is very personable and a good communicator.
I had a malignant thyroid. Dr. Pendarvis removed my thyroid- no complications and was pleased with his expertise and valued me as a patient. Thank you Dr. Pendarvis. Martha Smith, Clarkesville, Ga.
Dr Pendarvis is an excellent surgeon. He did a Thyroidectomy on me. He took the time to ask me for any concerns I may have had right before surgery and double checked concerns. Thank you 3 Anesthesiologist ladies for making me laugh and seeing 3 smiling faces before anesthesia set in. I see your smiles now. You completed my surgeon.

I recently had thyroid surgery with Dr. Pendarvis and couldn't have had a more positive experience from beginning to end. The needle biopsy was done with minimal discomfort and then he explained the results carefully. Surgery went so well and my recovery was very quick, plus my scar is almost invisible. All through the process, he explained what was going on and what to expect. I highly recommend Dr. Pendarvis for your surgical needs.
Dr. Pendarvis performed a total thyroidectomy on me last week. He and his entire staff are excellent. From my first visit to my post op visit today I've had nothing but the best of care. I always go in w/a list of questions and he patiently takes the time to answer them all without trying to rush me out of the office. Dr Pendarvis did a parathyroidectomy for me several weeks ago, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Parathyroid surgery can be tricky, but he recommended a 4D scan prior to surgery to better locate the gland giving me trouble. The surgery was very easy. Even though it’s only a few weeks out, my incision is healing beautifully, and is almost not even noticeable. Was told prior to surgery he is the “thyroid guru” in this area, and I believe it.
Dr Pendarvis was amazing. He performed a biopsy on my daughter’s thyroid. My daughter was scared. He was so nice and took the time to calm her down and explain everything he was going to do so she felt more comfortable. Unfortunately her nodule was cancerous. Three weeks later I went to him for the same type of biopsy on my thyroid. Dr. Pendarvis is a very good surgeon. Very friendly, explains things well and lets you what to expect on your surgery. Would most definitely go to him again.
