A thyroid biopsy, a presurgery and post surgery checkup and thyroid surgery. Dr. Pendarvis was professional and kind with every visit.
Dr. Pendarvis, along with his staff were all very friendly. Dr P was extremely knowledgeable & a great listener. I never felt rushed & absolutely felt seen. He answered each of my concerns about my procedure and post op questions. Dr. Pendarvis made me feel extremely comfortable from the first time I met him despite my circumstances. He was also highly praised by all hospital staff and responded to all MyChart messages very quickly. I highly recommend him and his amazing staff.
For many years I had nodes on both sides of my thyroid that were tested each year for growth and for cancer. Dr. Pendarvis continued the testing for cancer once I moved to Gainesville. There was no cancer, but the nodes continued to grow. Once my endocrinologist and I decided it was time to remove my thyroid I choose Dr. Pendarvis for the surgery. He did a wonderful job. Hate the thought of having surgery, but would definitely choose Dr. Pendaris again. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt at ease and trusted him for my procedure.

Dr. Pendarvis is young, sharp, knowledgeable, communicative and personable. Pain following surgery was minimal compared to my acquaintances' experiences with the same procedure. Follow-up was very satisfactory. Highly recommended.
Dr Pendarvis did an awesome job finding and taking out an almond size parathyroid tumor. Great bedside manner and took the time to explain everything. If you need surgery on your thyroid he is your guy!!
