Dr Pendarvis did a parathyroidectomy for me several weeks ago, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Parathyroid surgery can be tricky, but he recommended a 4D scan prior to surgery to better locate the gland giving me trouble. The surgery was very easy. Even though it’s only a few weeks out, my incision is healing beautifully, and is almost not even noticeable. Was told prior to surgery he is the “thyroid guru” in this area, and I believe it.
Dr Pendarvis was amazing. He performed a biopsy on my daughter’s thyroid. My daughter was scared. He was so nice and took the time to calm her down and explain everything he was going to do so she felt more comfortable. Unfortunately her nodule was cancerous. Three weeks later I went to him for the same type of biopsy on my thyroid. Dr. Pendarvis is a very good surgeon. Very friendly, explains things well and lets you what to expect on your surgery. Would most definitely go to him again.

Great doctor, terrific surgeon. Supports patient autonomy by allowing his patients the right to make decisions about their medical care without trying to influence their decision. If your looking for a doctor that listens and provides practical solutions without making you a test monkey in the process.....he is your guy!!! Would use him again EVERY time, hands down!
Dr. Pendarvis performed emergency surgery on me on 11/29/2017. In February, 2019, I saw him again as another incisional hernia had appeared above my belly button. He has done two surgeries on me. He is very thorough and explains what he is going to do. He has great bedside manners; you know he cares about you and does what he can to keep you comfortable. My wife and I know he is an excellent surgeon from our experiences with him.
Great doctor and all around great guy, with a wonderful staff. It's been almost a year since my total thyroidectomy. I would highly recommend doctor Pendarvis to anyone. I feel we are very fortunate to have a surgeon of his caliber in our area.
He performed a parathyroidectomy on me ( 66 year old male) and previous biopsy. Dr. Pendarvis made sure that l was not in pain before,during or after when I woke up.I had a great outcome. We prayed GOD would lead us to the right doctor and l really believe He did.
Dr. Pendarvis is very personable and is a very good surgeon. My husband and I have both been operated on by him with great results. I would highly recommend him.
