Alex is THE BEST!!! She not only did an amazing job giving me mermaid hair, but she fixed a long standing bad cut my former stylist just could not get right (I give terrible instructions, but Alex is a mind reader :) The rest of the staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the salon is lovely. I could not have had a better experience! Highly recommend!!
The ladies at Derby salon made me and my wedding party look and feel absolutely gorgeous! During the hair trial, we solidified the perfect wedding hairstyle (bring photo examples with you to help the stylist understand exactly what you are looking for), so that my hair on the day of the wedding would look exactly the same and the whole process would go smoothly. My only place to get hair, eyelashes, facials and nails done. Great atmosphere and the staff is like no other. Beyond the best in Seattle.
The place is warm and inviting, staff is friendly. The owner, Allison makes a point to know the customers by name. They offer a wide array of products and services but don't seem to oversell. The prices are comparable to other Seattle area salons. I've been a satisfied customer since 2008. Edited because I forgot to sing the virtues of my stylist, Dean. He specializes in thick, curly hair, which is hard to find.
