They do high quality work! I've had my hair cut and colored there for years and never leave disappointed. Megan, Elizabeth, and my most recent stylist Dana are experts with the scissors. They sell some of my cult favorite products like Bumble and Bumble, Davinas, Nieves, authentic and gorgeous Hobo bags, local art, and even have the most beautiful and stylish velvet scrunchies (never thought I'd praise scrunchies!). Post-COVID, the Derby experience remains fantastic. The owners and staff have taken every imaginable step to ensure hygiene and safety, all without losing the personal touch. And, of course, my hair looks and feels just the way I wanted it.
The best of the best! I've been going to Derby for years. Love Caillee...everyone is friendly and know what they're doing. Highly recommend.
I’ve been going to see Shelby for a few years now. She never disappoints and is always making me laugh & smile. The whole vibe is awesome and it seems like everyone genuinely loves their jobs! I live in Bothell and do the 20-30 minute (depending on traffic) drive because it’s worth it!!!
Dean Lee from Derby Salon has been my hair dresser these past few years. I hadn’t put my life in his hands (literally) when I surrendered my ownership rights to my hair. And, in a million years, I would never go blonde. Yet, here I am, super blonde and I couldn’t be happier! He’s worked miracles and I am really happy with it. The environment and his lovely co-workers bring a calm energy to the space and they have great accessories!
Dean is amazing! He has met every need I have ever asked, hair to make me feel great when meeting my boyfriends mother, a stellar cut to rock an interview and now a coloring plan that I am in love with! Thank you. The salon is up and coming, trendy and has nice amenities (coffee, tea, etc.) with fab gifts. I always end up with extra gifts for upcoming birthdays or just because. Thank you Derby.

I went in the salon for the first time last week with an idea in my head of what I wanted but not a clear example. Luckily they set me up with Paul. My whole experience was AMAZING. I've never had such a fun, entertaining and talented hair dresser. He was fun to talk to and made the whole time enjoyable. And I walked out loving everything about my cut and color. He couldn't have done better. Paul is now my always go-to� the salon is also super cute and lots of fun products. Everyone was very friendly.
