The finest dining in and around Robertson County. When Mr. Elliott built his grocery store in his yard in 1922, then known as The Brick Storehouse, who would have known the building would eventually be the home of Springfields premier dining house known now as Depot Bar & Grill. In 1943, Mr. Elliotts son Otto, took the store over and changed the name to Elliotts Store. Great food and service. The fish and chips were on special. I have to say it was the best fried fish I’ve ever had.
My wife and I had a great lunch. The service was outstanding the red fish I had full of favor along with my sides of bourbon mushrooms and steamed broccoli it was the first time I had tried this type of fish but it will no be the last time I have it. Elysse my Wife had a chef salad with all the things you could possibly think of on it it was big enough for two people. Just a really nice place to eat.
Excellent food and staff. I’ve been too many times to count and I have never received bad service or bad food. The owner is extremely nice and always makes his way around the tables to make sure everyone is satisfied or if anyone needs anything. Jessie is our favorite waitress but all the waiters and waitresses are great!! We love this place and try to go as much as possible! If you’ve never been, please don’t let the line at the door discourage you... it’s worth the wait.
The food was not only delicious, there was plenty of it!! Service was top notch and the atmosphere is cool and nostalgic.
Absolutely phenomenal! The Smoked Duck Breast Quesadilla was worth the drive from Henderson, KY in itself. I had the Catfish Thibodaux and Bourbon Mushrooms and my wife had the Grilled Shrimp with Creamed Spinach. All of it delicious! We will definitely be back!
This was the second time I have been there to have dinner with family. The service is friendly and efficient, the food is delicious. Thanks for a great evening!
