The finest dining in and around Robertson County. When Mr. Elliott built his grocery store in his yard in 1922, then known as The Brick Storehouse, who would have known the building would eventually be the home of Springfields premier dining house known now as Depot Bar & Grill. In 1943, Mr. Elliotts son Otto, took the store over and changed the name to Elliotts Store. I was impressed that the food and service both was good.
Had a little wait but well worth it. Had Texan Tail -super tender and delicious. The salad was much better than other places. My son tried rack of lamb and he said it was tender and really good. Not as game tasting that he was worried about. Said he would get again. He had garlic potatoes and Mac and cheese and said both were really good. Look forward to going back.
