The finest dining in and around Robertson County. When Mr. Elliott built his grocery store in his yard in 1922, then known as The Brick Storehouse, who would have known the building would eventually be the home of Springfields premier dining house known now as Depot Bar & Grill. In 1943, Mr. Elliotts son Otto, took the store over and changed the name to Elliotts Store. Been there several times and have enjoyed it. That ended today. Went in at 11:15 am for lunch. Asked for a booth but was told the booths were for larger groups. Every booth there at the time was empty and very few people anywhere else. First time I have ever been dented service at a restaurant. Will not be back.
RecommendedGrilled salmon was great, fries crispy and tasted like potatoes, salad was fresh and generous portion.

The Depot bar and Grill is awesome! You can’t beat the food or the service it is reasonably priced it is absolutely awesome!!
Great place to eat. Food was terrific and very reasonable. Trout, a large portion of grilled shrimp and rice and a full rack of lollipop lamb chops plus a bottle of Pinot Noir for three adults....$100.00 with salads included plus tip. 👍👍👍👍👍
My family and I have patronized the Depot as long as it’s been in business. However, we have not entered the restaurant in over 2 years and as long as the current manager is there, we will not be dining there. It is pretty sad that a person will look you in the eye and tell you a bald face lie, especially when you’ve supported their business for years. Too bad the manager felt it necessary to do that, because he lost a lot of business. While some people may not think integrity is important, our family certainly does!
