So as a Denver Health patient and a Denver Health employee I have to say DH you are a joke. You boast a Center of Excellence for transgender care, we buy your insurance plan directly from DH and you deny a trans affirming surgery for an employee as cosmetic and not medically necessary! I guess you can have your gender affirming surgery at DH so long as you don’t work there. Couldn’t be more disappointed.
Hola yo tengo 23 años atendiéndome en Denver Health, le doy las gracias porque siempre tienen lo mejor para mi muchas gracias por su buena atención para sus pacientes🤗
Sincere thanks to everyone in the Emergency Department, Cardiology Department, and Medical ICU at Denver Health. Yesterday morning I had a heart attack, walked into the ED, was given interventional catheterization and follow-up care, and 36 hours after walking in I walked the mile back to my hotel. Couldn't have wished for a better team to take care of me.
The ER staff was terrible. I was mixed up with another patient. People kept coming into my room and calling me a different name. I explained “you have the wrong person”, so finally they switched our rooms. I thought I was going to the urgent care at a little after 7 pm and then I found out after that the Urgent Care turns into the ER at 8 pm so I got charged for ER. I came in with several symptoms including a fever, an elevated heart rate, arm feeling like pins and needles, ear pain, ect. They didn’t address any of symptoms ... read more
I just wanted to thank the amazing staff in the SICU. We had a tragic family event and all of the hospital staff were so helpful, respectful, and really reached to try to know the patient and family, so that they could best honor the patient’s wishes. They even let me store my breast milk in their freezer. We are from out of state, but just wanted say thank you for wonderful healthcare.
Had a bad experience with the Denver Health STD clinic. They are a publicly funded walk-in only clinic with the hours of 7-5pm. Yet I have been turned away when I arrived at 3:30, two days in a row. They said there wasn't a nurse available the first day. The second day they were "full". Yet both times the the waiting room was empty, and I could see the badged health care workers standing in the hall and hear them chatting about unwork related things. Their body posture and the speed at which they move tell me they are not mo... read more
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This facility is unethical and will extort you for minimal services. I went in to Denver Health Urgent Care in March for a severe stomach ache to seek help after days of discomfort. I was there for a total of 25 minutes, and they recommended lab work and asked me to provide on-site, which I did. I later received a bill for $1,200 for this recommended lab work, and was never warned there could be such a ridiculous cost involved prior, but billing won't help in any way since I signed a release form.
