I've had a terrible experience with this specific Dental solutions location involving a fraudulent insurance charge. They charged my insurance company for a routine X-ray study but never actually took the X-rays. I only found out about this errant charge as a result of going to a new dentist and having them request the X-rays to review and subsequently finding out there were no actual X-rays. I was their patient 6 years ago. After showing me 0 balance 3 times and after i moved from my old address, they decided to send me bills. Of course i did not receive them. Instead of giving me a call, they sent the bill to collection. When i heard of what they did, i quickly paid them even though i disagreed with what they were doing. They agreed cheerfully to withdraw the claim, they have not done it for 5 years. Just be careful when you go there. They say one thing but do the other. I had just moved to Manayunk and this was the closest dentist accepted by my insurance. I went in for a cleaning, and after waiting forever they took some x-rays and said I needed to have a procedure done for my gums. They didn't even clean my teeth, and said I needed to re-schedule for that. They then sent in somebody to try and set me up with a payment plan for this procedure since it would not be completely covered by my insurance.
