I have been using the same dentist for a long time and I love him and his staff but because of a new job and traveling I needed a dentist who could do a one day crown. Katie and Dr. Harris were great and it took less than 2 hours for my new crown.
What a day! Went in for my annual cleaning and came out with a much needed crown. I expressed my dental apprehensions and the next thing I know an appointment has been cancelled so I didn't have to dread coming back to get the crown. I was taken such good care of by Brittany and Dr. Hood. I was so grateful for the sensitivity to my apprehension. Thank you all!
Can't say enough good about Dr Josh Hood and the staff at Dental Associates of Athens. I have had a problem with a tooth and they have gone ABOVE and BEYOND to take care of my problem. Dr Hood and Grace even came to the office this morning (on a Saturday-their day off) to take care of me. Also involved in seeing that I got the best care possible was Mary and Christy. Great team! I highly recommend their dental services. I recently had an implant done by Dr. Harris. He did an outstanding job!
The ladies up front are excellent and I will miss them. But after the most horrible dental experience I have ever had (at the hands of Dr Hood, I will no longer go there. And I have been a patient of theirs from the start. He was rough with no compassion for the pain he was inflicting on me, and the work failed to have good results. 3 mo. later I am still in pain and will most likely have to have it all redone. First off Donna and the other sweet lady up front are great! They are informative and caring about the patient. Doctor Hood made my experience easy and pain free. I did not have the best experience with the new lady doctor (Roth I think) I think she just needs more experience. However everyone else there is great! I would highly recommend.
