I can't say enough about Dr. Schutte and his staff. I saw Dr. Schutte in early April of this year for a shoulder replacement. In short, I had to have a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr. Schutte and staff, went above and beyond in meeting my needs and making me comfortable with the procedure. Without hesitation, I would recommend Charleston Institute for Advanced Orthopedics for any Ortho needs.
I was there for a cortisone injection and did not wait long for my appointment. We got right to it and the injection barely hurt! Pleasantly surprised!
I had been experiencing more pain in my knee over time despite routine exercise that included yoga, swimming, stretching, and strengthening and walking. I did these support exercises so that I could continue to play tennis. I started then to use knee braces and K T tape but continued with increasing knee pain and the snaps,crackles and knee popping had turned to clunks feeling like my knee would get stuck. My visit today included several X-rays and office visit with Dr. Schutte. Dr. Schutte performed two hip operations about 10 years ago, and did surgery on my arm when I broke my humerus about three years ago. Everything is going very well. His office staff and medical staff are always helpful and friendly.
My followup visit took place with Sara Voges. She discussed additional exercises I could include in my home therapy and answered all the questions I presented. Dr. Schutte’s staff is always friendly and helpful.
6 week follow up Total knee replacement
Every followup visit since my Hip Replacement on 2-8-22 has been GREAT!! A VERY Congenial staff with outstanding Surgeons and equipment!! Dr. Schutte replaced my worn out and Arthritic Right Hip and just 16 weeks later I was GOOD TO GO......next appointment 2-8-23........WOOOOO HOOOOO!! THANKS Dr. Schutte & Company!!
