Overall, every visit was a very good experience. I do however wish I could have seen Dr. Shutte himself on my final visit

I had my left knee replacement in July. I am very pleased with the outcome and look forward to having my other knee done by Dr. Schutte after the first of the year.
He replaced my right knee sept 5 2017, he was very professional and his staff is also professional in the ways they made me and wife feel about their ways of us to be comfortable throughout the whole process. I am also having my left knee replaced when i am totally healed
When I met Dr. Schutte in 2001, I was walking on a failed hip implant. It was loose and and each time I stood up, it was like setting a broken bone. The surgical options were grim. None gave me the least hope of an active life. "What about an impaction allograft," Dr. Schutte said—An Exeter stem in a cement and donor bone mixture, like concrete. And it promised more bone, not less. Growth. Hope. Sixteen years later. Golf. Tennis. Hard work. I'd like to add a star. You get six.
Excellent in every way! My surgery was 6 weeks ago and I am walking without a limp or a cane -- and I was told several years ago that I was too old for a knee replacement. Dr. Schutte and his entire staff are incredibly supportive, efficient, and friendly. They even managed to complete my x-ray and exam when I showed up on the wrong day for my appointment -- and no one (from the receptionist to the X-ray tech to Dr. Schutte) ever indicated that my mistake inconvenienced them in the least.
Dr. Schutte corrected a knee that had been poorly replaced last year. The results have been excellent. He consulted with me prior to surgery, and then his assistants stayed with me as long as I needed to fully understand the medical process. They are knowledgeable and very dedicated women, and I totally trusted all would go well. A few of the office staff were not pleasant or courteous. There were many pages of forms with repetitive questions to be filled in. It took well over 1/2 hour.
I had my left hip replaced by Dr. Schutte and his team. The Comprehensive Joint Program at East Cooper Medical Center is the best program in the country. The staff at Charleston Institute for Advanced Orthopedics is the best. I felt safe and well cared for throughout the entire process, even through the follow up visits. I highly recommend Dr. Schutte! And yes, I have sent several of my neighbors to him!
Dr Schutte replaced my right knee back on January 19th, The Surgery went smooth. Rehab was tough but I heard thats how it is. 3 months out feeling great with awesome range of motion. I would strongly recommend Dr. Schutte for Knee Replacement Surgery.
