Well organized from admitting to discharge. Carley, the overnight nurse took great care of me. Terri was very informative.
Dr. Schutte was a referral from my surgeon in Arizona. I couldn't have been more pleased with his practice, his co-workers, his skill, his bedside manner and the hospital (East Cooper) where the surgery was performed. Quite frankly, this is the best experience I have ever had with a Doctor and his staff. Terri Blackwell, Dr. Schutte's PA was equally impressive. She is a major component of Dr. Schutte's team.
Dr Schutte is a caring, skilled and gifted professional. Today had great post surgery checkup with his associateTerri Blackwell and him. Have seen Dr Schutte for over 10 years for hip and knee.
GREAT, staff is over the top, walk in and say hi, they look up and say, you are checked in. I’m critical of most docs, why? Too many in my family. Dr Schutte is probably the best I’ve ever seen in my entire life. He listens intently as do his staff. Would never use anyone else. He’s the best along with his staff. Great folks.
Office is slow. Lingering issues after 1.5 years. Wait times are super long. Sat for more than an hour for a PA to tell me I need to see Dr Schutte and then more waiting. Spent five minutes with me without a clear explanation of what is happening to me. I’m looking to move on to another doc.
Initial office visit last week for total hip replacement assessment. Office staff very professional, well organized and attentive. Short wait time. Dr. Shutte was very professional, excellent bedside manner, and good listener and not rushed . He is an excellent educator and thorough. Surgery is scheduled for next month.
Dr. Shutte performed a miracle on my knee. I had a knee replacement in Oct 2018 and was left in pain and unable to walk . He did a revision surgery in May of 2019 and within 5 weeks, I felt like a new person. I am out shopping, sleeping through the night with minimal pain and a great extension and bend. I had the misfortune of shattering my femur in September 2018. Thank Goodness for Dr. Schutte. Dr.Schutte and the surgical team at East Cooper Medical Center were able to put it all back together. Dr. Schutte's skill and the wonderful care I received at East Cooper have allowed me to recover so quickly that I was able to walk in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies last Saturday. He helped me so that I can help others! I cannot be more blessed and thankful!
One of the best in the country for joint replacement, especially revisions. Great staff, great facility, everything about my TKR revision went perfectly.
