I have been bringing my cats to Deerfield since moving to San Antonio in 2001. I now live downtown but still make the trip to Deerfield when the cats need to see someone. They are compassionate and take the time to talk to owners about their pets needs. I highly recommend them!

I’ve been coming to Deerfield Animal Hospital since I got my dog as a puppy. We mainly see Dr. Halberg because she has been so wonderful to both of my sisters dogs when they have been very ill. The staff is very friendly, their prices are reasonable, they are honest & are prompt about updating you on conditions & lab results. I have been taking my cats here for over 8 years. The staff is wonderful the doctors are wonderful. I can always count on them to take care of my furbabies.
We took in an abandoned doberman over the New Year's holiday. Dr Kronewetter and the staff were absolutely wonderful with her, spelled out her treatment plan very clearly for me, and and even followed up on her a few days later. We had her vaccinated and started on a heartworm treatment and the doberman rescue group was able to place her in a great home right away. It's so gratifying to see such a caring and competent group of people.
