RecommendedI have camped with my family at Deer Creek State Park for many years both in tents and at the cabins! It is a wonderful place to have fun if you love nature, beautiful scenery and lots of wonderful activities that all the family will enjoy. There is so much you can pick and choose depending on the age levels of your children and adults! The lodge is also beautiful, unique and filled with lots of things to see and buy. We stayed at Deer Creek so my husband could compete in a triathlon at the park. We were denied late checkout but assured there were showers at the beach. There were not. $200. for a room which we couldn’t use when we needed it, mediocre food, $2.75 for weak coffee with fake creamer,slow service in the restaurant, dated decor- totally unimpressive.

RecommendedGood food, not so good outdoor seating. Lots of cob webs and dusty. Complementary coffee was empty and trash cans overflowing. Nice place but needs a little intervention.
RecommendedBeautiful scenery, easy to locate
Terrible restaurant! Waited over an hour and still had to talk to two people to get kids' mac and cheese served! It was their bedtime! The view is nice, but doesn't make up for it.
