RecommendedVery nice place for the family.
Hotel room was very old and outdated. The back of the curtains were stained and had dead bugs on in. Everything desperately needed painted. The reason we booked the lodge was because we were out on the boat most of the day with out of state family and wanted a nice place to stay and swim INDOORS. We went to the front desk, asked where their door pool was, she directed us, but first we stopped in the gift shop to get $14 goggles for kids. We walked down to the pool to find it CLOSED! RecommendedI visited the Rafter’s restaurant and I would just like to give my server, Carrie, a huge shoutout! It was my first visit and she was so knowledgeable about the menu and so friendly it truly made my experience great! She was a great server and kept our refills full and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you, Carrie!!
Nice place BUT, No longer worth the room Rate, Bring Food on your Visit, unless you are dieting, and Really loaded with Patience. "Sharon" our waitress was the only thing that kept us from walking out, She was "fantastic", and a real pleasant asset we hope this Facility appreciates. . We will definitely check "current comments" before Booking another Visit. .

My husband and I came out from Kentucky to hike on Memorial day. Only two trails were clear enough to hike. Maintenance on the trails is horrible, needs a lot of work to make it even passible.
