Pretty much what you would expect from an older lodge. Room was nice sized but needs updating. The lodge layout was nice and I would suggest having at least one meal at the restaurant, the view is awesome. The pools are nice and for the little ones they have a 1' deep pool. Great quick getaway before school time.
The outdoor pool was wonderful and our kids had fun. We stayed in the lodge and the room was lacking especially for the weekend price of $200 a night. The shower did not drain well so you stood in water while taking a shower. The refrigerator needed defrosted. The biggest problem was the Rafter's restaurant. We waited over an hour to be seated on a Monday night. We wanted a nice dinner, but they told us a couple times to check out the bar because they had food there. The Cabins are very dirty. We had a MOUSE and bugs, broken chair on the deck, etc, etc, etc. One issue after another.
My son and I just came home today from staying there for 3 days. My son broke out in a horrible rash all over his body from the swimming pool. We thought that the restaurant was a little pricey. And disappointing that you had to be let in to the souvenir shop and the lady that let you in acted like she didn't even want to be there. Then to make a purchase you had to go back out to the front desk where they rang it up; & they had to call the girl for prices and SKU numbers etc.. kind of strange. This is one of my favorite places to stay. I am definitely dragging my friends along this summer to enjoy it with me.
We just got back after staying 3 days at the lodge would just like to thank all of the employees that we came in touch with and had the pleasure of meeting.Its a very nice place to stay nice rooms and a very good dinning area and the food was excellent hope to see uall when we go camping Thanks again Tim and Cathy room 248
That would be cool to stay here. Maybe someday I will be able to.
