About this business
History Established in 1999. We started as a peanut stand in our current location in 1998. My Dad wanted to teach my sister and I business, so we started with boiled peanuts, then started to sell produce, and eventually Dad started renting the building for storage. We brought our smoker down to cook lunch for ourselves, but our customers kept demanding we sell them that too! So everyday, Dad would buy extra meat to bbq for our regulars. Thank you for the review! This made me chuckle, I’ll explain a little bit on how we deal with complaints. If you ever see on the special menu “roadkill stew“, then you know. 🤣😂 Everyone’s pretty happy and full so any complaints are very rare. I do always except constructive criticism though or any pointers. At Deep South we always try to have an open mind and make sure that everyone’s opinion is heard.
