History Established in 1999. We started as a peanut stand in our current location in 1998. My Dad wanted to teach my sister and I business, so we started with boiled peanuts, then started to sell produce, and eventually Dad started renting the building for storage. We brought our smoker down to cook lunch for ourselves, but our customers kept demanding we sell them that too! So everyday, Dad would buy extra meat to bbq for our regulars. As a owner of a fine farm to table establishment in Land o Lakes, Deep South BBQ is family owned and operated, started twenty years ago, and we just stumbled upon it! A pleasant surprise to see another young Entrepreneur continuing to feed folks with locally grown, farm fresh products. The bacon tots , the okra, the briskets and the awesome fried blueberry pie !
