Deposited a cashiers check from Soy Capital. They put a 10 day hold on it. Did the very same the very at land of Lincoln aNd had no issues at all. Earthmover could’ve called to clear it since it was a local bank. We could have written a personal check and it only would have cleared in 3 days. We purchased a cashiers check so it would be easier than carrying cash. The drive up takes forever so I think it is an excellent time to find new banking. Sad after banking with EM for over 30 years.

Two different accounts (one business, one personal) with fraudulent charges in three days and ZERO communication between the company who handles that and the CU itself. I was actually just hung up on my a DECU representative when I suggested that they need to be aware of what steps members are being told to take and then finding out that those steps are unnecessary. First - why fraud on all of my accounts? No one answered that. Second - Hanging up on a member? Extremely disappointed and will never recommend.
They don't answer their phones...I have been calling 3-4 times an hour and on hold for 15 + minutes each time for the last 2 1/2 hours. I have tried all locations and not once got to talk to a live person. SMH!
DECU is a joke and will do anything to steal your money don’t bank here.
Been a member for like 12 years. Ive never missed a payment and they rejected me for a $1000 dollar loan. What a joke. Ill be finding a new bank asap!!!
Very poor customer service. Called to make an appointment to inquire about a home mortgage as their website suggests. A week and a half passed before someone returned my call. In the mean time I went to 1st National Bank in Clinton il and did all the paperwork on a Friday, and was pre approved on the following Tuesday. I understand being busy, but does it take that long to pick up a phone and call someone? I have banked with Earthmover for two years, and this is not the first issue I have had like this.
