You gotta try It! – My wife and I were visiting Portland last weekend and met at DeCarli for dinner with another couple who had driven up from Salem. They parked in front, and we found ample street parking around the corner on the right from the restaurant, plus we noticed a municipal parking lot just beyond. Decarli is FANTASTIC!! – Great food, great wine list, great wait staff, great desserts...all on top of a beautiful space. Treat yourself to a real dinner in Beaverton, before the crowds take over here.......it's only a matter of time before this gem is discovered, and it becomes reservations only.
Finally....Beaverton has ARRIVED!! – For years I have longed for a business in the historic district of Beaverton to come in and turn around the neighborhood. Like attentive service? This is your place. – I hope this restaurant gets it's act together because we need something like it in Beaverton. I was hopeful on the outside. It looked great from the street. It was great looking on the inside as well. Unfortunately, they are going to need a little more time to work out the quirks. Too bad they didn't get it right – Tonight my husband and I tried a new place in Beaverton called Decarli. We were at first very excited because of the reviews we had read on citysearch. Excellent – Since moving to Portland a few years ago we have been in search of that go-to Italian restaurant when we need a good meal and I think we have finally found it! Decarli was an unexpected find in downtown Beaverton. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff friendly and most importantly the food was great. Finally something for the Forest Heights crowd !!! – We've been to Decarli twice now since it opened just a couple of weeks ago, and.... WOW !!!! Walking through the front door, you realize that this place is the "real deal." Chef Paul Decarli is a master of his "mostly Italian cuisine." Best meal we've had in Beaverton – Decarli was highly recommended through a friend of a friend, though I have to admit to having some skepticism at finding a great restaurant in downtown Beaverton. Sure, there are some really good places to eat out in the burbs, but you always go to downtown Portland when you want the best, right? Well, maybe not any longer.
