is this for real – i work for Nike and have been in the portland food scene for awhile. Caffe Mingo and Mingo are 2 of my favorite restaurants. We loved it! Don't tell anyone!!! – We went on a Saturday knowing the place was booked, but the hostess recommended seating in the bar. We ended up with a cozy window seat. We tried a few of the signature cocktails, unique but delicious, and the wine list had some wonderful choices. Too much Hype – Well, unfortunately, this is one place not to go to. The place lacks imagination. The owners obviously took pieces of better restaurants and tried to create a unique atmosphere, but failed. Great Food, Westside Location! – We went here on the recommendation of a friend of a friend, and were pleasantly surprised.
