Ummm, are the ROACHES part of the meal?!! – Last Friday, I ate dinner with 3 guests at Decarli. If I could go back in time and delete that experience from my mind, I would. The service was SLOW. The food was UNINSPIRED. And during our dinner, my guests and I spied 2 COCKROACHES crawling across the floor. Disgusting!!! Never, never, never again. Decarli, you've lost 4 customers forever! Clean up your act.
Great food – There used to be a time when I felt that I had to drive all the way to Portland for fine dining. Decarli has completely changed that. I have now attended Decarli several times and it has become my go-to place when I want some outstanding food close to home. Great place!
Need Reservations..... – My husband and I have patroned this restaurant for Happy Hour once before, and we were pleasently surprised. We wanted to take our daughter out for a celebration dinner, and she made the reservations on the website (OpenTable) for a table @ 8:30PM on Friday night. We arrived on time, and were asked to WAIT. Great find in the heart of the burbs – How did we miss this gem for so long? My husband and I have been to happy hour many times and everything we've tried has been great. Everything from their happy hour menu is a great value and delicious. Their wine selection is awesome. The ambiance is perfect for a night out with friends or date night. We're so happy to have found decarli's and look forward to return visits each time we go.
Surprised – New to Beaverton just moved from Seattle. I was tired of always driving out to portland to dine with friends. Heard about this spot from my neighbor. Convinced my girlfriends to come out to my side of town for dinner and drinks. We had a wonderful time! Food was great, service was awesome, and we definitely be back!
Excellent! – First time guests. Arrived for Happy Hour on Sunday night which is totally awesome as runs from 5 - 9, and get this - you actually get to choose the happy hour wine you would like from the menu, as long as its under $8! score! no cheap junk they are trying to get rid of. We tucked into amazing polenta fries and wonderful caesar salad. The barman is great. What an excellent discovery! I am already plotting my next visit!
Terrible Experience – Arrived on Wednesday at 5:30pm. Three tables occupied in the restaurant. Ordered wine and cocktails. Immediately after, ordered food. After one hour the server explained our food was taking longer than usual because the chicken was prepared from “scratch”. One hour and fifteen minutes later and nothing. A perfect evening – We've been to Decarli before and even written a review. But last night was perfection. Every dish was yummy (short ribs, chicken, pork chop, fish), the service personal and never made us feel rushed. The setting is just lovely with the wood and brick and sparkly lights. I love this place and love that it's in Beaverton.
Swanky and elegant restaurant in Beaverton? – I always drove by this little place on Watson and reminded myself and husband that we should go in sometime.
