You took the soft shell crab off the platter?!!! What the heck?! As locals, we look forward to every single thing your platter has offered. If the tourist don't eat it, give them a choice! Ask BEFORE you put in the order. So you expect us to believe that a stuffed crab is equal to a soft shell crab plus $6?!!! Insulting to us home breeds. Please give it some additional thought. There has got to be a better solution. AND the ladies' bathroom always has an unpleasant odor. Maybe bleach it entirely or gut it and re do it for us... read more
The food and services is awesome, there seafood is the best I've ever had. Great experience.
True Nola comfort food. It is a busy establishment especially with locals for various reasons. The portions are large, the seafood is fresh, and the service is very hospitable.
Rude manager....over priced....nasty....don't go there.
I've been a customer for years..I haven't been there in over a year due to moving out of state... I highly recommend this establishment to some friends only for the service to be the worst.. The manager had a very bad attitude and would not accommodate a guest.. her fish wasn't cooked properly.. This is a family owed establishment and I guess they make their own rules...I was very disappointed bcuz I rave about this place only to come back and get the worse service ever..
I wish i could give this place zero stars...especially for the owners attitude
We had a party of 6 and were crammed on a small table we ask for a larger table and the host seemed to have a problem moving us. Before moving we ask to keep the same waiter that was a problem. Ask for the manager she came out with an attitude to top it off she is the owner/manager. The food is good but the service stinks for the price you pay for the food. As an owner myself I want my customers to be completely satisfied and this owner could careless.
I don't usually review things on FB, yelp, or anything. This place was worth the time.
We were staying at the Ronald McDonald House of New Orleans and Deanie's Seafood was kind enough to invite us to their Vince Vance Christmas Sing - Along and Christmas party. <3 Met the chef who was a super nice (and humble) guy. We all had a great time and the shrimp and grits are delicious! Thanks guys!!! So nice of you!!! =)
