They don't even deserve one star! Worst place for large groups. They ruined my sister's birthday!!! The "manager" is very rude and disrespectful. DO NOT GO HERE!! U have been warned!!!

If you can't tolerate a little "attitude" stay out of Deannie's - or for that matter any New Orleans neighborhood restaurant. No restaurant, especially one this busy on weekends, hits the mark every time. It's still one of my favorite places to take visitors from out of town who want to experience Louisiana seafood at a reasonable price in a informal setting. Splitting 1/2 seafood platter (with an extra soft shell crab) is a must-do with some of my friends. First place they want to go when they get in town.
I will be going to Deanie's on Feb 4th .. or Feb.. 5th despite the negative reviews. There must be a great reason there's a long line of people patiently waiting to dine there. I will give you my honest review.. I'll take pics/videos. . Good or Bad I Promise To Give a Completely None Biased Honest Report.
My Sister and her friends came over to visit from out of town, they drove over 8 hours and were looking forward to a nice meal, we came to Deanie's on Lake Ave. and the hostess told us the wait would be around 30 minutes, about 45 minutes later we went to ask her how much longer? and she said they were just waiting for a big table to clear up, we were a party of 7 so we understood. 20 more minutes passed by and we still didn't have a table, one of my sister's friends was getting a lil upset about the hostess' unapologetic wa... read more
Came here to the Iberville location for a girls weekend this week. The service was absolutely horrible. Our server was rude, the managers were unprofessional and the food was less than desirable. Our appetizer came after the food and it was cold. After asking to speak to one manager we were openly attacked, yelled at, and embarrassed in front of all the other guest. The Manager who was part of the owners family called the police on my family for no reason at all. I can see if we were arguing or loud. We just wanted to let two of our family members joined us who was late, sit down. We were told no, so two of our family members went to sit with them. Yet, that made the Manager mad so she called the police. The police for someone moving seats. I think it was because we were black and the Manager thought we would be loud and crazy. Good food, large quantities and priced very reasonable. Good service and friendly staff. This was my first time there.
First off had to wait a hour and a half to get seated in the mean time I cashed my ticket out on the poker machine and it didn't print so she tells me to write my name down and someone will contact me to get paid wth!!!! Really and then place a order wait a hour and waitress didnt put in orders so waited another 25 ' Minutes ughhhhhhhh
