My first experience at Dean of Shadyside Salon. I purchased a groupon for a hair treatment, cut and style. Gabriel was my stylist and was amazing. I showed him two hair inspiration pictures and he made my hair look even better than the pictures. I was almost screaming out of excitement. I've been to many salons in Pittsburgh and this was probably the best cut and style that I've ever had. Everyone that I encountered at the salon was extremely nice too.
I needed an appointment short notice, and when I called Dean, they were able to get me in the next day. My stylist, Olive, was super friendly and gave me the perfect cut. There aren't many stylists capable of cutting a man's hair and beard with the same finesse and skill that they can cut a woman's hair, and I was thoroughly impressed. I'm a man of extravagant tastes, and the salon was clean and modern with tremendous service. I will absolutely be back and will recommend to friends. Really bad experience, for not saying the worst in Pittsburgh. They really ripped you off. They give you a discount card, but at then, they still charged you. The guy at front is really racist. I was surprised how he treated people. I have been to many other places, but it was the worst experience ever.
Always a pleasant experience and happy when I leave.
