When I first went to see dr cestari I had double vision from orbital decompression surgery due to thyroid eye disease. I was recommended to dr cestari and glad I was. He got me an urgent appt within days.he explains everything up front i had gone 5 months with double vision and couldn't drive. I was getting very discouraged. There is help for double vision. When I woke up from surgery I could immediately see single vision. I cried happy tears It was very emotional. He gave me a big hug!!!

His skill and level of expertise are outstanding! My wife had a very complicated issue in seeing double vision due to nerve damage thus having weak eye muscle control. Her vision is now restored and we are so extremely thankful that Dr. Cestari was her surgeon. The whole team at Massachusetts Eye and Ear were just awesome!

Dr. Cestari is an extremely talented surgeon who possesses exceptional communications and interpersonal skills and thoroughly explains the details of the surgical procedure he plans. He has built an outstanding support team to assist him including his Operations Coordinator, Tatyana Pearson, who is superb at all aspects of patient communications. Dr. Cestari and his team corrected my vision and ensured my other health issues were addressed. He is also caring and I recommend him highly.

Dr. Cestari corrected my strabismus with his surgery. He and his colleagues were extremely thorough in evaluating the problem and presenting the options. Surgery and recovery went well, and I am happy with the result two week later. His staff is very courteous, and he is very caring. His expertise, knowledge and skill are obvious. Dr. Dean Cestari is a wonderful and caring Doctor who was kind, professional, and a pleasure to work with regarding my son's recent Strabismus surgery to correct his double-vision/eye impairment. He's an amazing surgeon who takes the time to speak openly with his patients, as well as their family, so they understand the process each and every step of the way. He and his staff are simply wonderful. We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs this type of eye surgery done.
