Dr. Dematteis is an amazing Neurologist. He was very knowledgeable and he was the one that diagnosed me when no one else could. I am here today because of Dr. Dematteis and the resident nurse who saw me in Hamott. I am forever grateful.
This guy would not fill out paperwork for my 79 year old father who has dementia and Alzheimer's and epileptic. When we moved back to michigan it literally takes 5 minutes.
I had heard really great things about this doctor from another patient and so was hopeful to find answers to issues that have troubled me for years. He asked me questions for 3 minutes, then based on those gave me his professional opinion: "It's all in your head." I am too ill to work, apparently too young to be sick, and too exhausted to meet with yet another incompetent doctor. Save your money. Save your soul. Go to someone much more knowledgeable.
