The only word that comes to mind when mentioning this "so-called" physician and his ENTIRE practice is GARBAGE!! Please note that this assessment is not coming from some "over-emotional" individual with limited knowledge of healthcare, but from someone with over 22 years of experience in handling medical insurance claims, prior authorizations, payment determinations and most importantly, provider reviews. Having worked with just about every union from the Culinary Union to the Teamsters Union
Very efficient and caring. Staff at surgery center were great. Doctor called after hours to discuss surgery.
After surviving Cancer in 2014, I have had more than my share examinations, test, blood draws, ect. I found Dr. Delatorre to be incredible and his staff to be wonderful. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.
They put my G-tube in and refused to take it out after a year because of insurance did not cover all of the cost, now it's bleeding and they won't fix it or remove it cause of balance due, recovering from cancer treatments I can't work so their office made me an appointment to take it only to get and get kicked out of there office !!!!!! With bleeding out my gtube, don't ever see Dr da LA Torre.
The woman who called us to verify our appointment was completely rude, disrespectful, hanged up the phone during the call, then called back to continuing insulting us and hanged up again. In an attempt to solve the issue she disclosed the patient information with someone who was not the patient, lost her cool again, said no appointment was going to be done because she was the manager while smiling (sarcastic tone) and hanged up the phone again. This review will be edit once the problem is solved
There was nothing more frustrating than finding out my insurance wasn't accepted and having to pay the full amount out of pocket. Over $171.00 for a 5 minute visit that proved to be unnecessary in the end. Would have been nice to know about the insurance before the visit so it was expected. When I called to make the payment arrangement, Tina advised that they do not accept the HMO. Why not tell me beforehand so I could have made other arrangements for a provider who would accept the plan I have.
